I have a longtime adoration of the fiber arts. As a girl, I was surrounded by the beautiful quilt handiwork of my mother and her friends. I have many fond memories of working with macrame and weaving with my sister. In college, I was introduced to hand dyeing and knitting, and in recent years, have begun sculpting with roving wool. I am in the process of integrating fiber with my ceramic work, as well as developing unique stoneware pieces to be used by my fiber colleagues.
